SPORTS COLLEGE PARTNERSHIP

Cranborne Middle School is delighted to announce that we have been successful in our bid to become a Specialist School .

 

This Specialist Status will help us raise standards even further in PE and Science as well as in other subjects. It will also enable us to contribute to education in the community in a positive way.

 

We have identified a number of priorities for the next three years.

 

• To raise standards in PE and Science.
• To raise standards across the School through the sharing of expertise and teaching styles from PE and Science.
• To work with our first schools in order to further combine resources and expertise to raise standards in PE and Science.
• To work collaboratively with our secondary partner school (Phillip Green Memorial School) to raise standards in PE.
• To provide opportunities for people in the local community to be more involved in physical activity, and have the chance to gain leadership and coaching qualifications. In addition, the school will be forming a partnership with Cranborne Doctors surgery to improve health and fitness in the community.
